"The One I Want" is the first song that was recorded for the Tell Someone album. From this modest start a vision was realized as Zayani Rose toured and recorded in her off-time to complete this project that was originally supposed to be a short EP for fans along the tour stops. After label execs heard the songs that Zayani had recorded early in the project it was an easy decision to extend the album to a full LP album release.
